As part of an 87 year-old, third generation family-owned business, Hall Capital Partners embodies the entrepreneurial vision and “forward unlimited” spirit that launched our founder, Fred Jones, into business. Allured by the promise of the mass-produced automobile, in 1920 Fred Jones became a partner in a Ford Dealership located in Blackwell, Oklahoma. By 1929, Fred Jones’ unlimited enthusiasm, focus on service and good fortune had built the largest Ford Dealership group in the Southwest and the fourth largest in the nation.
In 1938, Fred Jones’ vision of a tremendous future in the servicing of automobiles resulted in him establishing the first factory dedicated to the reconditioning of automotive parts. During World War II, when the production of new automobiles virtually stopped, the small reconditioning operation performed a spectacular service in keeping urgently needed civilian automobiles operating. By 1966, Fred Jones Manufacturing was supplying over a thousand Ford Dealers in 14 southern states with remanufactured parts and was the largest remanufacturer of engines and transmissions in the country.
The growth and expansion of the Fred Jones Companies continues today under the leadership of Fred’s grandsons, Fred Hall, Brooks Hall and Kirk Hall. The Hall family is the largest investor in Hall Capital Partners investment fund and actively involved in the business of the fund. All of the professionals at Hall Capital Partners seek to deploy the knowledge and experience accumulated from over 87 years in business as a resource to our partner companies.
