Investment Professionals Fred Hall Mr. Hall is partner in Hall Capital Partners and a chairman of the investment committee. Mr. Hall is also a principal shareholder, director and Chairman of the Board of Fred Jones. Since 1983, while CEO of Fred Jones, Mr. Hall led growth strategies for the business and successful exit strategies. Since 2002, Mr. Hall has served as Chairman of the Board of Managers of the general partner for the Catalyst/Hall Funds. Mr. Hall serves on the Board of Directors of numerous public, privately held, charitable, and governmental organizations. Mr. Hall holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
David Holsted Mr. Holsted is partner in Hall Capital Partners and a member of the investment committee. Since 1993, Mr. Holsted has served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Fred Jones and its operating entities, where he leads acquisition strategies. Since 2002, Mr. Holsted has been a key executive in developing and executing investment transactions and managing portfolio companies for the Catalyst/Hall funds. Prior to Fred Jones, Mr. Holsted served as a Senior Audit Manager in a national accounting firm. Mr. Holsted serves on the Board of Directors of several organizations. Mr. Holsted holds a B.S. from Oklahoma State University, and is a CPA.
John Kobza
Mr. Kobza is partner in Hall Capital Partners and a member of the investment committee. Since 2002, Mr. Kobza has been active in developing and executing investment transactions and managing portfolio companies for the Catalyst/Hall Funds. Prior to 2002, Mr. Kobza was a Managing Director at Vine Street Partners where he was responsible for the origination and execution of merger and acquisition and capital raising assignments for a broad array of middle market companies. Prior to joining Vine Street in May 1994, Mr. Kobza worked in New Jersey and Chicago at the Prudential Capital Group, where he was actively involved in funding private placements to large corporations and portfolio management. Mr. Kobza holds a B.S. in Aeronautical and
Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
Maya Lowder Ms. Lowder is currently the CFO of Hall Capital Partners, LP. Prior to joining Hall Capital Partners, Ms. Lowder was a Vice President of First Capital Corporation where she was responsible for the daily operations of the accounting department. Her accounting career also includes 6 years of experience with The Fred Jones Companies as Corporate Controller, including involvement in several acquisitions and financings, and 3 years of public accounting with KPMG Peat Marwick. Ms. Lowder earned a B.S. from Oklahoma City University and is a CPA
Scott Mueller
Mr. Mueller joined Hall Capital Partners in July 2009 as a key executive in developing and executing investment transactions and managing
portfolio companies for our private equity funds. Prior to July 2009, Mr. Mueller acted as Chief Investment Officer for one of our Limited
Partners and oversaw a significant and diversified portfolio of private equity investments, public securities and derivatives, hedge funds, and oil
and gas assets. Mr. Mueller spent nine years working for Goldman Sachs in both New York and Dallas, leaving as a Vice-President in the Private
Wealth Management group. Prior to attending business school, Mr. Mueller worked for Ford Dealer Computer Services and the Corporate
Strategic Planning Group at General Motors. Mr. Mueller holds a B.A. from the Honors College at Michigan State University and an MBA in
Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and is a CFA charterholder. In addition, Mr. Mueller currently serves on the Board of Directors of
several companies and charitable organizations.
Advisors Randy Devening Mr. Devening is an advisory board member of Hall Capital Partners. Previously he was the former Chairman, President and CEO of Foodbrands America, Inc. (NYSE), CFO of Fleming Companies, Inc. (NYSE) and CFO Genentech, Inc. (NYSE). Mr Devening is also a former member of the Board of Directors of Hancock Fabrics, Inc. (NYSE), Fleming Companies, Inc. (NYSE), Del Monte Foods Corporation, and The Fred Jones Companies, Inc. among others.
Brooks (“Boots”) Hall Mr. Hall is Vice Chairman of The Fred Jones Companies, Inc. where he has provided leadership in managing and growing portfolio businesses since 1976. Mr. Hall led Fred Jones’ automotive businesses through aggressive growth, both internally through marketing innovation and market expansion and externally through acquisitions. Mr. Hall currently serves on the Board of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and the Oklahoma State Fair. He previously served on the Boards of OKC Economic Development, Kirkpatrick Foundation, Oklahoma Automobile Dealers Association, and is Past President of the Appeals Review Board. Mr. Hall received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Denver in 1976.
Kirk Hall Mr. Hall is Vice Chairman of The Fred Jones Companies, Inc. In 1989, Mr. Hall joined Fred Jones providing leadership in treasury and finance alternatives for portfolio companies, and overseeing investments in real estate, oil and gas, and insurance. Under Mr. Hall’s leadership, portfolio companies have grown and achieved leadership status in their industry segments. Mr. Hall serves his community on the Board of Directors of United Way of Greater OKC, YMCA, Leadership Oklahoma City, and OKC Community Foundation. Mr. Hall received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University in 1983.
